History of the Red Kite Race

Sunday 05th July 2015 marked the very running of the Derwent Valley Trail Runners 'Red Kite Race'. The race was won by Matt Hornsby of Durham City Harriers in a time of 55mins 29secs with the first female Adele McAteer of Blackhill Bounders finishing in a time of 1hr 11mins 23secs.
