Sunday 03rd May 2026 is the Newcastle-Gateshead Half Marathon in support of the Bubble Foundation. Good luck to Stefan Ward who has entered the race. The entry price is £36 for anybody interested. The event also boasts a 10km, marathon and a junior event. Click on the button below for details...  

Friday 15th - Sunday 17th May 2026 is the 'Keswick Mountain Festival', a celebration of outdoor sports and adventure. Expect a fully immersive experience, combining world-class mountain sports, live music, inspirational speakers, top outdoor brands, and a tempting selection of food and drink.

With 16 sports events on offer including trail running, hiking, open water swimming, road cycling, triathlon, and adventure racing. There's something for every adventurer. The event boasts trail races from 5km - 50km and also includes a junior event. 

A number of DVTR members are attending the event including Jonny Parker, Jim Rickard, Kate Donnelly and David Edwards. 

Sunday 17th May 2026 is the 'Wild Deer Events' Derwent Reservoir 10km trail race. Good luck to Stefan Ward who has entered the race. The entry price is £28.89 for anybody interested. The event also boasts a shorter 5km race. Click on the button below for details...
