Chopwell Wood parkrun

Derwent Valley Trail Runners have always supported our local parkrun events. Our very own Derwent Valley Trail Runner Paul Feeley has been a 'Run Director' at parkrun since 2019, initially at the Gibside parkrun event before it moved site to Chopwell Wood.

Derwent Valley Trail runners regularly volunteers at parkrun events. Without volunteers, there is no event. Anybody can volunteer at parkrun, no experience or running background is required. As a parkrun volunteer, you will become a member of a team. It is fun and rewarding providing you with a sense of community.
